DJ J Carbon learned the craft in nightlife rooms: hosting, asking working DJs questions, recording mixes and practicing 30 to 40 hours a week. The result is a style built around people rather than genres. She reads the crowd, changes direction in real time, and keeps the floor moving through long-format sets.
